Q:When does submission commence?
A:Submissions are accepted from the launch date, 2 October 2020, 10:00 AM (GMT +8).

Q:When is the deadline for submission?
A:The submission deadline has extended to 27 November 2020, 11:50 PM (GMT +8). Submissions received after the deadline will be disqualified.

Q:How will my submission be evaluated?
A:Your submission/solution will be evaluated by a panel of evaluators consisting of representatives from Challenge Sponsors, Enterprise Singapore, IPI Singapore and other Industry experts invited by the Organiser. Selected solutions would be deployed to assess the solutions' ability to address the problems raised by the industry. During the evaluation of all submissions, we will consider the relevance, scalability and feasibility of the proposed solution.

Q:How can I participate in the challenge?
A:Download the proposal submission form in Microsoft Word format at the 'Attachment' section of the Challenge Statement Listing Page and fill in the details of your project proposal. Navigate to the challenge statement page, identify the challenge statement your business is keen to address, and click the "Submit Proposal" button after logging in. This submission will be your official entry into the challenge. Upload the filled Microsoft Word project submission form and any other supporting documents/files that may support your proposal.

Q:Who is eligible to participate in the challenge?
A:This challenge is open to all local and international startups or SMEs. Those that are selected to proceed with solution development may be provided with co-funding support.

Q:What is the funding support?
A:Each challenge statement may be allocated up to S$2,000,000 in co-funding grant support (for eligible enterprises) from the prototype, deployment to adoption. This Challenge also offers commercial opportunities for solution providers by forming good customer references for other clients facing similar challenges globally.

Q:What are your policies on intellectual property protection and confidentiality obligations?
A:The protection of intellectual property rights in the submitted solution is the sole responsibility of the applicant. Once the solution is submitted and selected for the trial, it will be a private agreement between the challenge sponsor and the startup / SME. Enterprise Singapore (ESG) would not request for a stake to the IPs developed. If you would like to share intellectual property rights that may contribute to the value proposition of the solution, it will be advisable to consider getting appropriate legal advice prior to making any disclosures to the organisers.

Q:How many members can I have in my team?
A:Your team should have a minimum of two members. There is no maximum limit to the team size. However, participants cannot belong to more than one team, and cannot be a family member or employee of Enterprise Singapore, IPI Singapore, or any of the corporate sponsors and marketing partners under this Challenge.

Q:How would I know if my team is shortlisted?
A:The shortlisted teams will be informed via email on their selection with instructions on the next steps.

Q:Is there a participation fee?
A:No fees are required.
